Training & Developing Your People in the Nuclear & Construction Sectors

“The only thing worse than training your employees and having them leave is not training them and having them stay”…Henry Ford

Training is a critical part of a company’s success and particularly so in people focused industries such as construction and in highly regulated sectors such as nuclear. Whether your need is setting up a new systematically derived training programme, or a one day course in leadership, we can provide skilled experts to support your training needs.

Our consulting team work with companies to analyse competence baselines, undertake maturity assessments, design & deliver bespoke and accredited training programmes, and measure and report effectiveness of the training and development programmes. No two businesses are the same so we offer a range of options depending on the business and individual needs.

Training Requirements on the Hinkley Point C Project and the UK Nuclear Sector

We help SME and overseas companies to ensure their staff are ready to work on the Hinkley Point C project before they arrive on site

Businesses new to the nuclear Industry will need to understand the comprehensive training and SQEP requirements needed to work on a nuclear construction site. SME’s and international companies may need support to define their training matrix and develop an upskilling programme to meet UK nuclear and construction standards. As members of the Professional Services Group at Hinkley Point C we can prepare your staff to undertake the CSCS tests and to go through the vetting & induction process, which can be a particular challenge for overseas staff.

With our Training Team having worked in the Nuclear Industry as Fleet and Site Certified instructors or as Subject Matter Experts, you can be sure that we will be developing and delivering your training to the highest standards.

Setting up a Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) Programme

A 1 day workshop for your training and development team on how to set up a Training programme to meet the needs of the Hinkley Point Nuclear Project. Understanding the requirements for record keeping and the easiest ways of demonstrating SAT compliance. We will discuss both the client specification for a particular post and the UK safety requirements for working on site.
